The Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, world No.5, qualified for his first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros by defeating the German Alexander Zverev (6th) in five sets 6-3, 6-3, 4 -6, 4-6, 6-3 Friday.

In the final, Tsitsipas will challenge either Rafael Nadal, 13 times crowned on Parisian clay, or the world No.1 Novak Djokovic, opposed in the second semi-final.

At 22, he became the first Greek player to invite himself to the major final, the youngest player to do so since Andy Murray in 2010. Tsitsipas had lost his first three semi-finals in the Grand Slam.
