Events A mother kills her four-year-old daughter and attempts to commit suicide
The head of the Court of Instruction number 7 of Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona) has agreed provisional detention, communicated and without bail for the woman accused of
killing her four-year-old daughter
at her home in Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona) and that later suicide was attempted.
After almost two weeks since the event, which took place on May 31, the woman gave a statement this Friday before the judge who directs the investigation by
videoconference from the hospital
where she is admitted.
The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has explained that the case is open for a crime against life and that it will be specified if it is a
homicide or a murder
- a more serious form of homicide due to the circumstances in those that are carried out-, as the investigation progresses.
As sources close to the case have indicated to Efe, everything indicates that the woman would have killed her daughter, for reasons that are being investigated, and
later would have tried to commit suicide
.
