President Moon Jae-in left for the United Kingdom on the afternoon of the 11th to attend the G7 summit of seven major advanced countries.

In addition to member states including the United States, four other countries were invited to the G7 meeting: Korea, Australia, India and South Africa.

At the G7 summit, President Moon will discuss vaccine supply and climate change response with the heads of countries, and hold bilateral talks with the UK, Australia and the EU, respectively.

There is interest in whether a Korea-Japan or Korea-US-Japan summit will be held during the meeting, but the Blue House is of the view that the possibility is open.
