The murder took place in an area in Trollhättan where the municipality built simpler housing for people with social problems.
On the night of 23-24 February this year, a quarrel arose between some residents.
There were also friends of these on the spot.
The cause of the quarrel is unclear but according to the prosecutor may be about money.

The accused man admits that he was at the scene and participated in the quarrel.
He also says that he made an attack with a knife-like object, but that this happened in self-defense after the other attacked him.
That is, what in legal parlance is called self-defense.
According to the prosecutor, it is a bit unclear whether the now deceased man also had a weapon during the confrontation.

Serious assault
As an alternative claim, Robert Beckard has stated aggravated assault and causing another person's death.
In addition to technical evidence, he leans toward testimony.
