On the same day, Fu Caixiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, met with Chen Baiguang and his party to introduce the achievements made since the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
Fu Caixiang said that the people of Qiongtai are closely related to each other and have similar humanities and customs. The two places have achieved positive results in cooperation in the fields of medical and health, science and technology, cultural creation, modern agriculture and ethnic minorities.
According to reports, as of now, Hainan has approved more than 2,000 Taiwanese-funded projects, using a total of US$5.46 billion in Taiwanese capital.
Since the establishment of the Hainan Free Trade Port, 62 newly registered Taiwanese enterprises have been registered, a year-on-year increase of 100%.
Fu Caixiang said that at present, Hainan is accelerating the construction of a free trade port, and Taiwan compatriots from all walks of life are welcome to visit Hainan for sightseeing, investment and business, and entrepreneurship and employment.
It is hoped that the Chinese National Zhi Gong Party will actively match up and promote Taiwanese businessmen to play an active role in promoting the development of Hainan's tourism, modern service industry and high-tech industries.
Hainan will implement measures to benefit Taiwan, provide heart-warming services to Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises, and share development results and opportunities with them.
In recent years, the Chinese Nation Zhigong Culture Association has organized many times to carry out martial arts and cultural exchange activities in Qiong.
Chen Baiguang said that the Chinese National Zhi Gong Party has always been committed to spreading the friendship between compatriots on both sides of the strait. It will promote cooperation in the cultural industry between Qiong and Taiwan, promote exchanges and exchanges between youths on both sides of the strait, and call on Taiwanese businessmen and enterprises to participate in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
At present, Hainan has issued the "30 Measures for Benefiting Taiwan" and the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Exchanges and Cooperation between Hainan and Taiwan to Help the Construction of Free Trade Port".
In addition, several key parks of Hainan Free Trade Port have set up service stations for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan overseas Chinese to provide services for Taiwan compatriots to invest and start businesses.
