A building collapsed on Wednesday evening in Bombay (India), leaving at least twelve dead, including eight children, and seven injured.
The collapse would be due to the torrential rains of the monsoon, according to the Indian authorities.
Authorities in the capital confirmed that seven residents were injured.
Six of them are in stable condition.
However, a 30-year-old woman was admitted to hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
Frequent meltdowns this season
The building was located in a slum.
Search and rescue operations continued on Thursday to find any missing.
"Three people could still be trapped [in the rubble]," said an official of the Municipality of Bombay, quoted by the

Residents of neighboring structures, whose condition appears to be precarious and dangerous, have been evacuated.
The collapses of poorly constructed buildings are tragically common in India during the monsoon season.
It started in Bombat on Wednesday, with its share of floods wreaking havoc on road traffic.
