According to the information received by the union, these are between 5-10 managerial positions, approximately 20 positions in elderly care, 10 in home care, six positions in home health care and 20 positions in the disability area that may be removed.

The municipality also wants to begin a survey of all vacancies, review all planned retirements and look at how permanent employment should be distributed.

- If this leads to a shortage of work in the end, we do not know at present, says Måna Larsson Törnqvist, union representative.

The proposal came after the decision that at least 70 jobs should be removed from social care last week.
