  On the same day, Jeong Eun-kyung, director of the Korean Disease Management Agency, paid tribute and gratitude to the people who actively cooperated with the government’s vaccination work and the medical staff who dedicated themselves to the frontline. The goal of administering the new crown vaccine and keeping the current epidemic prevention response measures unchanged, it is expected that the number of new cases in a single day in South Korea is expected to decrease significantly after mid-July.

  The Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea stated on the same day that according to the adjustment plan for epidemic prevention measures to be implemented in July, the restricted business hours of restaurants, cafes, karaoke rooms, and entertainment venues under South Korea’s secondary response will be extended from the current 22:00 to midnight (24 Time), other facilities are fully lifted from time-limited measures.
