"The problem is not the direction in which the measures of the government are going," she said, welcoming the deployment of electronic bracelets and serious telephones, "the problem is that we are loudly demanding financial means to have a coherent and effective policy ".

"We can stack the laws, interesting measures too, but if there are not these financial and human resources that are in place, then we will not be able to truly fight and take this major issue at the root. feminicides and violence against women, ”she argued.

Ms. Autain was speaking as the trial of the ex-companion of Julie Douib, murdered in Ile-Rousse (Haute-Corse) in March 2019, opened Thursday in Bastia.
