The State Department condemned the recognition of the FBK as an extremist organization

“We condemn ... the decision of the Moscow court to declare three organizations“ extremist ”,” said a statement from the spokesman for the United States Department of State, Ned Price.

The document notes that the State Department "calls on Russia to stop abusing the term" extremism "for the purposes of non-violent organizations and to comply with its international obligations to respect and ensure human rights."

Earlier it became known that the court recognized the FBK as an extremist organization.
