"The court overturned the decision of the Moscow City Court to extend the arrest until June 15, refused to satisfy the investigator's petition, they will be released from the pre-trial detention center by the end of the day," RIA Novosti quoted lawyer Pavel Lapshov as saying.

It is noted that the accused participated in the meeting via video link.

On April 3, the Investigative Committee of Russia brought charges against Krakovsky and Biryukov of abuse of office, which entailed grave consequences (part 3 of article 285 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

They are suspected of facilitating the transfer of businessman Albert Khudoyan from the pre-trial detention center to house arrest.
