IOC: About 80% of athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics will be vaccinated against COVID-19

According to the International Olympic Committee, about 80% of athletes qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

"A few days ago we announced 74 percent, and we're well above that level today," said Christophe Duby, director of the Olympic Games Executive, at a video press conference.

The Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee announced that it will ban foreign visitors to prevent the spread of Corona 19 and monitor the movement route through GPS for 14 days after entering the country so that athletes and reporters do not deviate from their originally planned travel itinerary.
