India records the highest number of deaths in the world in a single day

Today, Thursday, the Indian Ministry of Health announced that 6,148 deaths from the Corona virus had been recorded in the past 24 hours,

It is the highest daily death toll from the virus ever recorded.

This brings the total number of deaths from the virus to 359,676.

The Hindustan Times reported that the significant rise in deaths was due to the revision of the number of deaths recorded by the Bihar government.

The state initially announced yesterday, Wednesday, that 20 new cases of infection were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,478 cases, after which 3,951 deaths were added, bringing the total deaths in the state to 9,429 cases.

India recorded daily cases of less than 100,000 for the third consecutive day, as cases of infection during the past 24 hours reached 94,052 cases.

Thus, the total cases of infection reached 29 million and 183 thousand and 121 cases.
