Head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Education and Science arrested in Moscow in a bribery case

As TASS clarifies, we are talking about the head of the procurement inspection department of the control and audit department of the ministry.

"The court granted the request of the investigation to choose a preventive measure against Sherstobitov in the form of detention until August 7," RIA Novosti quotes Sokhadze.

The official is charged with part 3 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code - taking a bribe for illegal actions (inaction), the agency writes.
