  1. Issuance, renewal, reissuance, and apostille of Chinese ordinary passports;

  2. Travel permit business.

  Temporary people who have lost their passports and are eager to return to China do not need to make an appointment to apply for a travel permit.

  2. Appointment procedure

  1. Please prepare your current ID card (passport/travel permit) and electronic passport photo (please adjust the size of the photo to between 30K-80K) to ensure a quick online filling and appointment experience;

  2. Log in to the "Online Appointment for Chinese Citizens Applying for Passports Abroad" website http://ppt.mfa.gov.cn/appo/ to enter the appointment system;

  3. Select the location for handling and obtain the file number;

  4. Fill in personal information and certificate holding status;

  5. Upload photos;

  6. Select the application items and fill in the detailed information;

  7. Fully check the information filled in;

  8. Make an appointment for processing time and generate an appointment number;

  9. Follow the prompts on the web page to print an appointment application form with a barcode.

  3. Submit materials

  Applicants are requested to bring the printed appointment application form and application materials (including 2 paper photos consistent with the uploaded photos) to the consular section of the embassy to submit the application according to the online appointment time.
