  According to the Mandalay Fire and Rescue Department of Myanmar, the injured in the military plane crash have been sent to a hospital in Pyin Oo Lwin for treatment.

The local military and police blocked the crash site and launched an investigation.

According to the passenger list published by the Myanmar media, there were 2 monks and 6 soldiers (including 2 majors and 2 captains) on the plane.

At least 13 people have been killed and 3 people have been injured. The injured included the pilot, a woman and a child. The pilot was seriously injured.

According to Myanmar media reports, there were 2 monks and 6 soldiers on the plane. This trip was from Nay Pyi Taw to a monastery in Pyin Oo Lwin to participate in the donation ceremony.

The crashed aircraft was a Beech 1900D aircraft.
