"The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg registered the investigation's petition for the selection of a preventive measure in the form of detention against Yuri Khovansky, accused under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia," the message says.
Earlier, Khovansky said that he pleaded guilty for singing the song justifying terrorism and completely repented.
On June 9, it became known about the arrest of the blogger, it took place in the framework of the case of calls for terrorist activities and the public justification of terrorism.
According to kp.ru, the reason for the blogger's arrest was Khovansky's song about the terrorist attack on Dubrovka, which took place in 2002 in Moscow.
