Democratic Party's Real Estate Special Committee announced that it has selected six areas, including Incheon, Ansan, Hwaseong, Uiwang, Paju, and Siheung, as the site for the 'Everyone's Home' pilot project.



The 'Everyone's House' project is a system that allows homeless people, newlyweds, and young people to live for a long time by paying 6~16% of the house price first. They can purchase a house at the initial supply price 10 years later.



Rent for 10 years of residence is capped at 80-85% of market rate.



Kim Jin-pyo, chairman of the Real Estate Special Committee, said that he plans to supply a total of 17,85 households to six regions, and explained that he would select a business operator within this year and promote the sale from the beginning of next year.

special committee also decided to supply about 5,800 households by using some of the reserved land in Dongtan, Yangju, Hoecheon, Paju, and Godeok, Pyeongtaek, the 2nd new towns, as housing sites.



Pre-registration will be held next year.



The special committee also decided to hold regular joint meetings with the Seoul City Council TF, which is made up of Seoul Metropolitan Assembly members from the Democratic Party, in addition to the TF for future supply measures.



The joint meeting plans to announce additional plans for discovering complex development sites and housing supply in downtown areas including Seoul at the end of this month.
