The Russian Embassy urged the United States to stop "pumping weapons into Pristina"

"We call on the United States to strictly abide by UN Security Council Resolution 1244. To abandon the policy of pumping up Pristina with military equipment and weapons," the Russian diplomatic mission said on Twitter.

The diplomats noted that such steps undermine efforts for a Kosovo settlement and increase interethnic and sectarian tensions.

Earlier, as reported by TASS, the Serbian media reported that the United States donated a batch of M-1117 armored personnel carriers to the troops of the self-proclaimed Kosovo. 

At the end of April, the US diplomatic mission in Pristina posted on Twitter a photo of the armored personnel carriers delivered to Kosovo.
