"Russia has notified the termination of the agreement on the avoidance of double taxation between the Netherlands and Russia unilaterally," Havercourt reports to TASS.

It is noted that the agreement will expire on January 1, 2022.

On May 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law denouncing the tax agreement with the Netherlands.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Finance intends to adjust tax agreements with Hong Kong, Singapore and Switzerland. According to Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov, "this will cover more than 90% of payments to transit jurisdictions and additionally replenish the Russian treasury."
