Janik Sinner, n.19 Atp and 18th seeded, surrendered to Nadal with the result of 7-6, 6-3, 6-0 in just over two hours of play.



Sinner has found the 13-time champion Nadal, after the quarter-finals lost against the Spaniard in the last edition.



For Sinner it was the third direct confrontation with the Majorcan who won the previous two, at Roland Garros 2020 (7-6 6-4 6-1 in the quarters) and at the Internazionali d'Italia this year (7-5 ​​6 -4 in the second round).
