Cooper was named after the Cooper Creek site in Queensland, Australia.
The fossil was found in 2007 by a pure coincidence of farmers in the area.
Since then, paleontologists have worked hard to confirm Cooper as a completely new dinosaur species.
And on Wednesday, it was finally time for Scott Hocknull at the Queensland Museum to announce Cooper, not just as a brand new species, but as one of the world's largest dinosaurs.
