While there are gratifying figures in terms of vaccinations, the region raises a warning finger ahead of the upcoming student celebration.

- Last year we had a dramatic increase in the number of new cases, the weeks after the student.

Although almost half of all people over the age of 18 have now received their first dose of vaccine, there are still as many who have not been vaccinated.

This means that there is a risk that the spread of infection will increase again if we do not follow the recommendations, the region writes in a press release.

As of Wednesday, the region has left the staff situation and returned to normal.

This means that the decisions that have to do with the pandemic are handled in the ordinary management structure.

However, the restrictions that apply in Region Jönköping County's operations, such as visitation restrictions, continue to apply.
