According to Judge Helein Kerstens-Fockens, the dossier refers to the testimony of two witnesses in September 2014, which were transferred by Russia to the Joint Investigation Team.

“Both made the same testimony, saying that on July 17, 2014 at 17:20, they saw a rocket launch from the direction of the village of Amvrosievka, where the Ukrainian army was stationed.

The investigation team rejected these testimonies, primarily because this zone is too far from the point where the plane disappeared from the radar, ”RIA Novosti quoted the judge as saying.

She noted that, according to the investigation, the maximum flight radius of the Buk missile is 36 km.

On the eve of the presiding judge Hendrik Steenhuis, during a hearing in the Netherlands in the case of the crash of Boeing on flight MH17, he spoke about the findings of an expert from the Almaz-Antey concern, who was interviewed by the investigating judge.
