The man drove a wheel loader and crashed into a car with the bucket first in a place where he had a duty to give way.
The driver of the car sustained, among other things, rib fractures, whiplash injuries, sprains and subcutaneous bleeding in connection with the collision.
Prosecuted for several crimes
The 45-year-old man who drove the wheel loader is now charged with aggravated drunk driving, he was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs, aggravated negligence in traffic, aggravated causing bodily injury, illegal driving and minor drug offenses.
The accused man admits to minor drug offenses but denies other charges.
