June 07, 2021 At least 30 people died and dozens more were injured in a train crash in southern Pakistan between two passenger trains.

According to what is learned from Pakistan Railways, one of the two trains, coming from Karachi, derailed near the locality of Daharki, north of Sindh province, and the other, arriving in the opposite direction, hit him in full.   



Rescuers transported the injured to area hospitals. Many of them would be in critical condition. Numerous fatal train accidents have occurred in Pakistan in recent years. An official from the Ghotki district reported that 8 carriages were destroyed and that there are difficulties in releasing some passengers still trapped in the wreckage. The cause of the derailment is currently unclear. The incident occurred at dawn on Monday.
