The number of doses of the anti-Corona vaccine given worldwide

Data compiled by Bloomberg News said that more than 2.12 billion doses were administered in 176 countries around the world in the largest vaccination campaign in human history against Covid-19 disease.

And Bloomberg reported today, Sunday, that the latest rate was about 389 million doses per day.

In the United States, 302 million doses have been administered so far.

More than 2.12 billion doses of vaccine have been administered, Bloomberg said, enough to fully vaccinate 13.8 percent of the world's population.

However, the distribution of vaccines has been uneven, with Bloomberg data reporting that higher-income countries and regions are getting vaccinated more than 30 times faster than the average in lower-income countries and regions.

While the best vaccines are believed to be 95% effective, a coordinated campaign is needed to eradicate the pandemic.

And the chief infectious disease scientist in the United States, Anthony Fauci, says that vaccinating 70 to 85% of Americans will enable his country to return to normal life.

Globally, there is an alarming level of vaccination.

At the current rate of 39.9 million doses per day, Bloomberg says, it will take another year to achieve a high level of global immunization.

However, the rate is constantly increasing, and more new vaccines are being pumped into the market by additional pharmaceutical companies.
