Shanxi Kelan is an old revolutionary base area. During the Anti-Japanese War, more than 2,000 young and middle-aged people in Kelan County participated in the anti-Japanese team. In 2017, 265 people from 14 villages around Songjiagou moved into Songjiagou Village. Through the construction of centralized resettlement villages, the characteristics of the village were created. Tourism in the ancient village, developing industries to expand employment, and now Songjiagou Village has been developed into a national 3A-level scenic spot, and villagers can eat "tourism meals."
