The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission said that as a result of a complete investigation into the real estate transactions of lawmakers of the Democratic Party of Korea and their families, it confirmed that there were suspicions of violating laws in a total of 12 lawmakers and 16 lawmakers.



The ACRC has sent related materials to the Government Joint Special Investigation Headquarters accordingly.



The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced today (7th) that it investigated whether there were speculations and violations of laws and regulations over the past 7 years of 817 people, including 174 Democratic lawmakers, their spouses and lineal ascendants and descendants, at the government complex in Seoul on the afternoon of the 7th.



After the LH incident, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has continued to investigate areas related to the 3rd new town, areas where related suspicions have been raised by the media, and areas where public officials have reported speculations submitted to the ACRC.



The ACRC originally planned to complete the entire investigation by the end of April, but has extended the investigation period while proceeding with procedures such as collecting consent forms to look into financial transaction details.
