Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission said there were illegal allegations in the process of real estate transactions and possessions over the past 7 years, including 12 lawmakers and their families, totaling 16 cases.

Of the 12, 6 are members of the legislature, 5 are spouses, and 1 is other family members, and there are two suspicions related to the third new city.

This is the result of the Democratic Party's request for a full investigation of 816 members, including 174 members and their families, in March after the LH incident.

Cases of purchasing land in connection with the district development project or purchasing real estate in the name of a legislator or his or her family before announcing a large-scale development plan were also included.

There were cases where unrelated farmland was acquired quite far from the residence, but no traces of farming could be identified.

However, the ACRC handed over the list and related materials to the Government Joint Special Investigation Headquarters and the Democratic Party, without revealing their real names and specific locations.

[Kim Ki-seon / Director of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Review and Protection: There is a limit to an administrative investigation, and it is not a matter that the ACRC makes a final decision, but in the end it is a matter that has to be concluded through investigation in a special edition... .]

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission investigation was conducted in a cross-verification method of a certified copy of the register and the property report to the National Assembly, and some on-site investigations were also conducted.

The Democratic Party plans to hold an emergency Supreme Council meeting tomorrow and decide whether to disclose the list after reviewing the results of the ACRC investigation.

[Ko Yong-jin / Senior Spokesperson of the Democratic Party: Isn't there something related to the family of the National Assembly member? So I will tell you after looking at the contents, but I will make the principle transparent, then I will be strict... .] The

People's Power criticized that it was a deception of the people to do a full investigation for more than two months and not reveal the lawmakers suspected of illegal real estate transactions.
