The Jordanian Cabinet, in its session yesterday, headed by the Prime Minister, Bisher Al-Khasawneh, reviewed the illegal manifestations that took place during the past days, and the insistence of some to establish gatherings that violate the law and affect the security of citizens and civil peace, and the Council confirmed, in a statement, that the government It will not allow the continuation of these illegal gatherings and manifestations, and all the behaviors accompanying them, such as incitement and incitement, and will deal with them firmly, and the Council called on citizens to distance themselves from them.

In its statement, the government said: “The Cabinet closely followed up on the illegal gatherings that took place during the past days, and the transgressions, abuses and open incitement against the state, and the threat they contained to societal peace, as well as the encroachment on the rule of law and public security men. The various competent agencies have exercised the highest degree of self-restraint in the face of these activities, and the direct incitement that permeates them constitutes a violation of the law and a blatant assault on it, in the hope that those who fuel these behaviors will come to their senses and return to the path of truth and righteousness.

The statement added: "What we witnessed from the attempts to mobilize, and the accompanying attacks on public security, and the inflammatory speech and behavior that permeated these illegal gatherings, constitute full-fledged legal violations that affect the core of our country's fundamentals, its constitutional foundations, and our inherited literature."

The council stressed that "the Ministry of the Interior will never allow the establishment of any gatherings, events, poetry houses, or other platforms, and will deal with the utmost firmness to enforce the law and prevent these dangerous incitement activities, including words and behaviors that violate the law and the constitution and tamper with the security of society."

In addition, the Jordanian Public Security Directorate announced the injury of four members of the security force that deals with riots in the Naour Brigade, and they are under treatment, explaining that a security force dealt, the day before yesterday, with riots, burning vehicles and firing shots in the air. A group of people, and as a result of those actions, four public security men were injured.
