Frenchman Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) won the Rally of Sardinia on Sunday, ahead of his Welsh teammate Elfyn Evans and Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), and widened the gap on Evans at the top of the World Championship (WRC).

Thanks to this 52nd WRC victory, including four in Sardinia and three this season, the seven-time French world champion, who took the lead on Saturday after Ott Tänak (Hyundai) had stopped in SS12, is now 11 ahead of Evans. points in the championship: 106 points to 95.
