“After a series of discussions, we came to the conclusion that if the situation with the spread of covid and the corresponding indicators do not deteriorate in the coming days, we will cancel the requirement to wear masks indoors from June 15,” Edelstein said.
He noted that the relief will not apply to schools.
Since April 18, the Israeli authorities have allowed no protective masks to be worn outdoors.
Earlier, the Israeli Ministry of Health has banned citizens from traveling to Russia and Argentina since May 31 due to the situation with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
