After Saturday night's shooting, a man was taken to hospital by ambulance, and the police have now begun a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.

The man's injuries should not be life-threatening, and no suspect has yet been arrested.

According to Jale Poljarevius, it is difficult to determine whether the incident may indicate that a new gang conflict has flared up.

- It is impossible to say whether it is a trend that is starting or not before you know what the preliminary investigation shows.

Nationally, we see that the shootings have decreased, but the month of May was really worrying.

The risk: New players chase status

Something that speaks for a negative development, however, is that several heavy actors in the criminal sphere are behind bars, says Poljarevius.

- A vacuum arises when many are locked up, little popes want to take their position and then there can be conflicts.

But now we are talking purely theoretically.

Part of the gang status is unfortunately the capital of violence, to move their positions forward they choose to shoot.
