The rally could not be held last year, due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
This Saturday, the Pride March brought together nearly 5,000 people in Rennes, according to the police.
Protesters marched in a festive atmosphere to condemn LGBTphobic acts.
"Whatever the circumstances, without ambiguity, all LGBTphobic, sexist, racist words and acts must be strongly condemned, including within our organizations," the organizers recalled.
Among them were several unions such as the CGT, FSU, Solidaires, FSE, Solidaires Etudiant-es or the Union Pirate.

Several local elected officials were also present, including the socialist mayor of Rennes Nathalie Appéré.
"Many acquired rights are not respected while others, such as medically assisted procreation, are still not open to all women, transgender and intersex people", remind the organizers.
According to them, "the legislative process, still in progress, must be completed as quickly as possible and allow access and care for all without medical criteria".
