That day, the Swedish Armed Forces had an exercise on the firing range in Skogstibble southwest of Uppsala.

About a hundred recruits fired.

The area was canceled with prohibition signs, but the men have claimed that they did not understand the warnings.

They should also not have heard any sounds from the firing range.

Felt bad

Employees of the Armed Forces met the men and took their names and told them what was going on.

The men have said that one of them felt bad and that they therefore needed to walk on the blocked gravel road.

The district court finds that the permit was not reason enough to enter the area. and they are both sentenced for unauthorized access to protected objects. Men must pay 30 daily fines of between 170 and 350 kronor each.
