The minister announced this at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"In a number of patients, the infection is now developing with lightning speed, the progression is very fast," Murashko's statement was quoted by TASS.
He stressed that this factor should also become a weighty argument in order to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health announced the minimum risks of re-contracting coronavirus after vaccination.
