05 June 2021 Two young players of Acr Messina, a team that plays in Serie D, are under investigation for aggravated sexual violence against a minor.

The disputed facts allegedly took place in full lockdown, in November 2020. The Gazzetta del Sud writes. The deputy prosecutor Roberta La Speme, who coordinated the investigations of the carabinieri, issued a notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations with the 'accusation of sexual violence, aggravated by the minor age of the victim.

The investigation was opened after the complaint presented to the carabinieri by the girl's father.
