“Today at the plenary session of the forum I have already said that the Russian economy, despite all the difficulties, has shown resistance to external shocks,” he said at a meeting with representatives of the international investment community at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Putin noted that in 2020, Russia's GDP contracted less than the global economy.
“By the end of this year, we will reach a growth rate of about 4%,” added the Russian leader.
