See Maja Björk Lindahl show the things chosen to represent Gothenburg - and hear her talk about why the museum shows both joy and sorrow

June 4 is Gothenburg's 400th anniversary and it draws the attention of the Gothenburg City Museum by opening a new exhibition depicting the beginning of the 20th century and up to the present day, through 50 objects and through buildings and events.

- We want to show a Gothenburg that is everyone's Gothenburg, says Maja Björk Lindahl, exhibition producer.

To help, the museum has, among other things, had primary school students, SFI classes and local associations that have all given their pictures of the city.

Wants to evoke thoughts

The hope is that the exhibition will arouse visitors' thoughts and lead to conversations about what is really the thing with Gothenburg.
