Because of the “fabricated leak” of Abi Ahmed .. Ethiopia attacks the Egyptian media الإعلام

Ethiopia, through its official agency, attacked the Egyptian media, after publishing an audio recording attributed to the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abi Ahmed, in which he says that he would rather die than hand over power, coinciding with the approaching date of elections in his country.

The Ethiopian News Agency said that Egyptian media outlets, in particular Al-Ahram Online, had been involved in media misinformation about publishing the news before verifying its credibility.

The agency quoted observers as saying that "Ahram Online wanted to create a state of instability in Ethiopia with the aim of achieving its hidden agenda promoted by the authorities in Egypt, which is represented in the lack of understanding regarding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam."

As reported by the agency.

The agency referred to the statement issued by the ruling party, regarding the leak, which confirmed that it was fabricated and fake.

She also confirmed that "media outlets operating in Ethiopia have verified the various original audio clips from their archives, and the leaked audio, as it turned out that it was compiled from different speeches made by the Prime Minister in separate events."

And the English-language Egyptian news website Al-Ahram Online had reported that Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said in an audio leak that he "will not give up power for the next 10 years, and there is no force that can take it away from him, and if any, he will face it firmly, and that he prefers death over The handover of power".
