May 30, 2021: Two people died and around 20-25 people were injured in a shooting outside a club in Miami, Florida. At least one of the injured is in serious condition, while several people have been transported to hospital.
The shooting began after midnight in a pool hall where a concert was being held, Miami Police Chief Alfredo Ramirez said describing the dynamic. Three people armed with guns and assault rifles got out of a white Nissan Pathfinder SUV and started shooting at people waiting to enter the concert.
"Every weekend is the same story. It is a targeted act, it is certainly not accidental," said the police chief, "This is a despicable act of armed violence, a cowardly act," he added.
This is the second shooting in Miami this weekend. On the night between Friday and Saturday, one person was killed and six others were injured in the Wynwood area.
