Fritidsgården Drivknuten in Hudiksvall was actually to open last autumn, but due to the pandemic, the inauguration was delayed until April 2021. Fritidsgården opened two weeks ago and there is now feverish activity in the vehicle program workshop at Bromangymnasiet. Here, both young people and adults have found a place to spend their free time.
The driving force has arisen through a collaboration between Bromangymnasiet, the prevention unit and the leisure centers in Hudiksvall.
The idea came from the young people themselves and at the end of the year, Hudiksvall municipality will evaluate the activities and whether the leisure center will be permanent.
