Emmanuel Macron rounded off his visit to South Africa by going, this Saturday morning, to the Nelson Mandela Foundation, in Johannesburg, the opportunity for the French Head of State to pay tribute to the first black president of post-apartheid South Africa.

He was at the microphone of our special correspondent, Pierre Firtion.

It is important, before leaving, to pay tribute and soak up what has made the history of this country and its struggles.

[…] To see all his life which passes through this exhibition which is a life of commitment, of sacrifices, of combat and a consecration which is precisely that of equality and freedom.
