The Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Major General Muhammad Al-Marri, met with a number of representatives of tourism companies in Dubai, to discuss the stage of preparation for the post-Covid-19 and ways to enhance tourism activity in the Emirate of Dubai.

Al Marri said: "This meeting is part of a series of meetings organized by the establishment of Dubai on an ongoing basis with the aim of strengthening relations with various companies and tourism offices to search for ways to enhance the activity of the tourism sector in the country, and to consolidate the position of the Emirate of Dubai as a preferred tourist destination to visit and live in, in addition to offering various solutions And opinions that contribute to revitalizing the tourism movement for the post-Covid-19 era.”

During the meeting, Al Marri called on tourism companies to cooperate in supporting the implementation of all measures that enhance tourism activity in the Emirate of Dubai, pointing out that the rapid changes taking place in the world necessitate redoubling efforts and working in a team spirit to support the country's development process and enhance readiness for the next stages.

He stressed that Dubai's residence continues to provide all facilities in issuing visas and receiving travelers coming to the country through Dubai airports.

He added that the Emirate of Dubai is a destination for visitors, stressing the readiness of the work teams in the establishment of Dubai to intensify efforts and unify them with various strategic partners and tourism companies to attract tourists at a greater rate in the coming period.

He pointed out that thanks to the proactive vision of the leadership in adopting a flexible approach and providing incentives that contribute to the strengthening of vital sectors in the long term;

The UAE was able to consolidate its leadership position on the global map, and made it a role model in all fields, adding that the “Covid-19” pandemic created new opportunities for many sectors, including the tourism sector.

Al-Marri explained that the country's various tourist attractions and components contribute significantly to attracting tourists and investments within it.
