“The United States will suspend its discretionary application of the 2019 air service agreement between Belarus and the United States,” said Jen Psaki, White House spokesman.
The US government also calls for a comprehensive and genuine political dialogue with leaders of the democratic opposition and civil society groups, which will lead to a presidential election under the auspices and supervision of the OSCE.
Earlier, the White House announced the development of sanctions against Belarusian officials.
