"June 12 is an all-Russian holiday - this day is celebrated as the Day of Russia, which belongs to non-working holidays," Postaniuk said.

He added that in 2021 June 12 falls on Saturday, so for working citizens there are "some nuances of postponing the holiday."

According to the production calendar, this date is a public holiday.

"Accordingly, for a five-day working week, June 12 (Saturday) is a holiday, June 13 (Sunday) is a day off, June 14 (Monday) is a day off, rescheduled from Saturday," the lawyer explained.

It is noted that there is no postponement for a six-day working week, since Russia Day falls on a working day.

The standard working week begins on July 14th.
