Let car fans rejoice: the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is back.

We will have to be a little patient since the famous Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland will take place from February 19 to 27, 2022, its organizers have announced.

A big comeback after two years of absence.

Indeed, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the event had to be canceled in 2020 as well as in 2021. Registrations for the 2022 edition have been open since Thursday.

Events that seek to reinvent themselves

"This 91st edition of the show promises to be promising and unprecedented, provided, of course, that the pandemic situation is favorable", underlined the organizers of the GIMS in a press release.

After the Shanghai show which revived the ball of automotive events in April, the next international show is due to take place in September in Munich.

These events seek to reinvent themselves when they were quickly replaced by online presentations and telephone press conferences from manufacturers, like the Munich meeting which presents itself as a “mobility fair”.
