The man is convicted of a serious violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods, receiving, serious damage and minor drug offenses.
It was in connection with a house search that the police found almost five kilos of dynamite in the attic of the man's house.
The man has claimed that the dynamite was in the house when he bought it but that he did not dare to contact the police.
But since the man has friends who are criminally charged, the district court believes that there was a great risk that the explosive could have been used in criminal activities.
Östersund District Court sentences the man to two years and two months in prison.
