They confess.

"According to their addresses, the following were seized: a significant amount of propaganda materials of an extremist nature, cold steel, communication equipment containing instructions for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices and firearms, as well as correspondence with the ideologist of the group from Ukraine on the preparation of violent actions," the ministry said in a statement. ...

Details of the detention in Saratov were told by the Investigative Committee.

As indicated in the department, criminal cases under articles on the creation and participation in an extremist community were opened against eight residents of the city aged 16 to 21 years.

According to the investigation, in 2020 in Saratov, four young people formed an extremist community, the purpose of which was illegal actions based on political, ideological, racial, national and religious hatred and enmity.

As the UK explains, they were all supporters of ultra-right views, two of them considered themselves adherents of the pro-Ukrainian movement "MKU".

It is noted that young people led the community, and also looked for like-minded people who could take part in committing crimes with them.

“After the creation of the extremist community at different times, at least four more participants took part in it, united by a common intention to prepare and commit extremist crimes against an indefinite circle of persons,” the UK said in a statement.

Investigators, together with Rosgvardia officers, conducted searches at the suspects' residence, where electronic media were found, including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, as well as clothes with characteristic attributes.

Four suspects, who are charged with creating an extremist community, have been detained.

On the basis of the investigator's petition, the court chose three of them a preventive measure in the form of detention, and one more - house arrest.

Earlier in 2021, law enforcement agencies reported the disclosure of two other cells of the "M.K.U." movement.

In March, 13 members of this movement were detained in Gelendzhik, and another in Yaroslavl.

At their addresses, “a significant amount of Nazi materials” were seized, as well as edged weapons and communications equipment containing instructions for making homemade bombs and weapons.

As it became known to the security officials, the group was organized in 2019 under the ideological influence of the leader of the “M.K.U.” community, a citizen of Ukraine Yegor Krasnov, who is also known under the pseudonym Yegor Yakovlev.

In Russia, supporters of "M.K.U."

received from him and other members of the movement who are in Kiev and Kharkov, instructions for committing terrorist attacks and massacres.

It is specified that the members of M.K.U.

According to the investigation, the members of the organization committed crimes “against persons leading an asocial lifestyle, without a fixed place of residence,” and also promoted hatred and enmity on a national basis.

Community members beat people and posted videos of the attacks on the network.

In February, another group of MKU supporters

was disclosed in Voronezh.

Its participants are involved in the propaganda of the ideology of neo-Nazism and mass murder, as well as in provoking interethnic conflicts.

During the searches, the detainees found extremist literature, symbols of nationalist organizations and edged weapons. In addition, in the garage of one of the detainees there was an object resembling a mortar mine during the Great Patriotic War.
